TUA Inaugration Ceremony

TUA has opened its door to the students since Fall 2010. The first batch of students are currently receiveing instruction from the esteemed faculty of TUA. The course registration of students for spring 2010 (4th Jan , 2011) is going on a brisk pace.

A grand inugration ceremony is scheduled to be organized on 28th of January 2011 at TUA campus. The details of the ceremony, the guest list and the events scheduled will be published shortly .

TUA hosts OPEN House

TUA hosts open house on January 12, 2011 attended by more than 50 people. The program began by a short video and then speeches by V.P Cesar Barrantes, Provost Dr Kia Makki and Dean Dr. Ron Mesia. Also a tour of the facility was given by Christel, demonstration of Network Lab by Dr. Ali Bakhtiar, demonstration of smart class room by Terry Suess.. more

IEEE CAMAD 2010

The International Workshop on Computer-Aided Modeling Analysis and Design of Communication Links and Networks (CAMAD) provides a forum for discussion of recent developments on analytical and simulation tools and techniques for the performance evaluation of communications systems.

It was launched in 1986, being held every 2 years until 2006, often in cooperation with flagship IEEE Communication Society conferences (Int. Conference on Communications - ICC, Global Telecommunication Conference - GLOBECOM). Since 2006, the workshop has been held once every year motivated by the ever increasing interest in this hot research and development field with last venues organized in Trento (CAMAD'06) and Pisa (CAMAD'09) as a stand-alone events, in conjunction with IEEE PIMRC 2007 in Athens, Greece (CAMAD'07) and co-located with the ICC 2008 in Beijing, China. From 2009, CAMAD is an IEEE Communications Society portfolio event.

IEEE CAMAD 2010 will be held on Dec. 3-4, 2010, just before GLOBECOM 2010, near Miami, at Technological University of America (TUA), Coconut Creek, FL, U.S.A.

Dr. Kia Makki, Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs TUA is the Executive General Chair of Globecom 2010 which is going to be held in Miami from 6-10 December.
