Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Associates of Science in Business Administration Program Objective The Bachelor of Science & Associate of Science in Business Administration program prepares students for positions in the 21st century marketplace. Students will need to balance the goals of economic success with the constraints of greater social and environmental responsibility. Students are instructed by a faculty and learn to integrate changing human and information resources with continually developing technology, while nurturing the entrepreneurial spirit that is the key to successful business and management. Students will acquire the critical knowledge and skills needed to integrate management, marketing, international business, and economic concepts to develop strategies to improve short-, medium-, and long-term organizational performance. Upon completion of the Business Administration Program, students may seek entry level employment in business, government, or a variety of industries where a range of business skills are needed. Program Description This degree program prepares students with the necessary foundations to apply business skills and principles in the industry and to meet the demands of today's business world. Students are provided with a course of study that allows them to have an advanced knowledge of business and management. Some career employment opportunities students will be prepared for include business managers, human resource personnel, entrepreneur, and office administrator. Course Structure : For Bachelors, students are required to take 42 credits per year (15 credits for each Fall and Spring semesters and 12 credits for each Summer semester for first two years) and 36 credits the third year. In total, students are required to successfully complete 120 semester credits. For Associates, students are required to take 60 credits (30 credits every year) |
