College of Engineering and Information Technology Dean: Dr. Shamilla Makki TUA’s College of Engineering and Information Technology (CEIT) offers both degree and non-degree Programs to meet the diverse educational needs and professional goals of students. The goal of the TUA’s College of Engineering and Information Technology (IT) is to be one of the leading engineering colleges in the world which will be known for the quality of its students, faculty, research programs, and an environment that fosters innovation and leadership. Creating a better future through learning, discovery, and innovation is the core of our mission in the College of Engineering and IT at TUA. The College rigorous programs offer exceptional academic preparation, a cooperative and congenial student culture, and access to a thriving business community, as well as support services for scholastic and career advancement. Its graduates will understand how to think through engineering problems toward creative solutions. In the years ahead, we will continue our efforts to attract and develop the highest quality faculty, student body, and staff in a supportive teaching, research and outreach programs. Our students are our most important product, and it is our mission to educate tomorrow’s technology leaders. This requires more than the best possible training in basic science and engineering.
