Dr. Humberto Florez brings over 25 years of experience in transportation, logistics and supply chain management.Dr. Florez has been appointed President of the Technology and Aerospace Sectors for DHL Supply Chain in January of 2009. In this capacity, he is accountable for the relationship between DHL and major customers on these industry verticals worldwide. Prior to this Dr. Florez was President for the Technology Sector in the Americas region and served as CEO for Asia-Pacific following the Exel integration into DHL. Prior to his assignment in Asia-Pacific Dr. Florez lead the Latin America business unit for Exel. Dr. Florez holds a Ph.D. degree in Transportation Planning and Engineering from NYU Polytechnic (New York), as well as M.Sc. degree in the same subject from Instituto Militar de Engenharia (Rio de Janeiro).
