Biography:

Dr. Bakhtiar Qutub Ali received his PhD in Electrical Engineering and Masters in Telecom and Networking from Telecommunications and IT Institute at Florida International University , Miami , USA . He also has a Master's in Telecommunications Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Dhahran , Saudi Arabia . He has worked with Huawei Technologies as a Wireless Intelligent Network Engineer prior to joining the PhD program. His research interests include data cleaning, dissemination and information processing in wireless sensor networks, wireless channel equalization and adaptive filtering, information theory and statistical estimation techniques. Dr. Bakhtiar is the architect of the network lab (regarded one of its kind in Florida) housed at TUA campus.
