TUA is offering Scholarships Call 954-971-0092 for more details
TUA Scholarships International Student: Currently TUA doesnot offer scholarships to international students However, every international student has to undergo following requirements to obtain admission into TUA. Every international student will be asked to take an online screening test that lasts for 60 minutes and contains 60 questions. The result obtained will be scaled to a maximum of 4.0. The following table maps the online screening score to a scale of 4.0. The formula for mapping the score if the student secures y points out of the 60 is as follows Scaled point of the student (A) = (0.0667)y, where y is the points secured by the student in the exam
This result will be averaged with the current GPA of the student (again on 4.0 scale). The following table maps grading system based on 20 points (as followed in Peru) to 4.0 scale. Scaled GPA of the student on 4.0 (B)=(0.2) z where z is the GPA of the student on a 20.0 scale
Hence the total aggregate score secured by the student (C ) who has obtained y points in the exam and z GPA on a 20.0 scale is C= 0.5 (A+B) C =0.33 (3z + y) The table stated below lists out some of the examples
The cumulative GPA will decide whether a student will be admitted to TUA or not.
Local Student: Scholarships to the local students in USA will be allotted based on the following rules. Every local student will be asked to take SAT/ACT test. The scaled score at 4.00 scale of the SAT examination is calculated based on the following formula. D= (0.00167)y, where y is the score obtained by the student in the SAT examination
The scaled score at 4.00 scale of the ACT examination is calculated based on the following formula D= (0.111) y, where y is the score obtained by the student in the ACT examination
The score obtained by the student in the SAT/ACT will be aggregated along with the cumulative GPA of the student in the high school and its average determines whether the student is eligible for a scholarship at TUA. Hence the formula for calculating the aggregate score at 4.00 scale is C= 0.5 (A+D), where A is the cumalative GPA of the student The following table gives the percentage of the scholarship for the compete career awarded to the student depending on their performances in their high school and SAT/ACT exam.
Apart from the scores attained, every student should submit financial details in the form of tax returns or paystubs to describe their financial inability to pay the fee.
