The new College of Engineering and Information Technology of the Technological University of America (TUA) invites applications and nominations for one or two faculty positions at all ranks starting August 2010. The College will offer B.S. degrees in Telecommunications and Networking Engineering, Information Technology Engineering and System Engineering and M.S. degree in Telecommunications and Networking Engineering. A Ph.D., a Masters or equivalent terminal degree in Telecommunications and Networking, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, System Engineering or a related discipline is required. Quality teaching experience and a record of scholarly achievements commensurate with the candidate's career. Candidates should have good communication skills (bilingual-English and Spanish candidates are preferred). Those who are not United States citizens must be authorized by the U.S. Immigration to accept employment in the United States. Successful candidates are expected to teach both graduate and undergraduate students and pursue an active research program. Our College and University take pride in providing students with a high quality and individualized academic experience.
Screening of applications will begin April 15, 2010 and will continue until the position is filled. The anticipated start date is August 2010. To guarantee full consideration, application and letters of reference should be received no later than April 15, 2010.
