International Students

Currently we are not processing applications from international students until further notice.

Undergraduate Program

In addition to the admission requirements, in order for the International students to get into TUA, they must do the following:

  1. Apply online ( www.tuauniversity.org ) and send the scanned versions of your transcripts to admissions@tuauniversity.org . Or alternatively duly fill the application form scan it, scan the transcripts and send them as an attachment of an email to admissions@tuauniversity.org . The form can also be obtained from the website ( http://www.tuauniversity.org/forms/TUA_Admission_Form.pdf ). The application form can also be submitted along with copies of transcripts to: Admissions Department, Technological University of America, 3700 Coconut Creek Pkwy, Coconut Creek, FL-33066.
  2. The admissions department will review the applications, program applied for and your transcripts.
  3. After the initial review all the accepted candidates will be sent a notification and depending on the program applied the students will be asked to register for an online screening exam and pay an examination fee.
  4. For all the residents of Peru, the exam will be held in Peru at TUA facility located in UTP. Applicants from other countries will be notified through email about the location and timing of the exam.
  5. Once the students successfully pass the exam, official copies of the transcripts, police clearance certificate, financial proof should be submitted to the admissions department of TUA
  6. The applicant is finally accepted if the above mentioned criterions are met successfully.
  7. Undergraduate Program for Transfer Students.

Students willing to transfer from other foreign recognized Universities will be required to do the following

  1. Apply online ( www.tuauniversity.org ) and send the scanned versions of your transcripts to admissions@tuauniversity.org . Or alternatively duly fill the application form scan it, scan the transcripts and send them as an attachment of an email to admissions@tuauniversity.org . The form can also be obtained from the website ( http://www.tuauniversity.org/forms/TUA_Admission_Form.pdf ). The application form can also be submitted along with copies of transcripts to: Admissions Department, Technological University of America, 3700 Coconut Creek Pkwy, Coconut Creek, FL-33066.
  2. The student is also required to submit official TOEFL scores to Technological University of America.
  3. The student will be notified about his/her decision based on the credentials submitted.
  4. If accepted, the student will be required to submit official copies of the transcripts, police clearance certificate, financial proof to the admissions department of TUA for registration of courses.
  5. *Minimum TOEFL score is 213/300 CBT, 500/670 PBT, 75/120 IBT (TOEFL code 7238, www.toefl.org)

Graduate Program

  1. Apply online ( www.tuauniversity.org ) and send the scanned versions of your transcripts to admissions@tuauniversity.org . Or alternatively duly fill the application form scan it, scan the transcripts and send them as an attachment of an email to admissions@tuauniversity.org . The form can also be obtained from the website ( http://www.tuauniversity.org/forms/TUA_Admission_Form.pdf ). The application form can also be submitted along with copies of transcripts to: Admissions Department, Technological University of America, 3700 Coconut Creek Pkwy, Coconut Creek, FL-33066.

Exam Guidelines

All the international students who will be enrolling into the Bachelor's program as a Freshman will be required to take a GPA test. The exam is online is nature and comprises of three sections (60 questions)

Section 1: English language (20 questions).

Section 2: Mathematics for High School (20 questions).

Section 3: Analytical Skills (20 questions).

All the questions are objective in nature and the exam duration is 90 minutes. The exam is framed based on the knowledge and skill possessed by a high school student. Ths exam serves as a substitute for SAT and TOEFL.

Sponsored Students

If you receive funding or a scholarship from a Sponsoring Agency, you must send a “Letter of Financial Guarantee” to TUA before the beginning of your program. This letter must be an original document from a U.S. branch of the Agency and must be addressed to TUA. The letter must say that the Sponsoring Agency will cover all your tuitions and fees during your stay in the United States.
