Any applicant who has been enrolled in an accredited higher education institution (within or outside the U.S.) and has earned university credits (successfully completed courses or subjects) should apply for admission as a transfer student. To qualify for admission to TUA as a transfer student, you must achieve a minimum 2.00 on a 4.0 GPA scale (if the applicant is an undergraduate student) or a minimum 2.5 on a 4.0 GPA scale (if the applicant is a graduate student) before transferring to TUA.
TUA will accept credits from other accredited institutions provided that a transcript and complete course descriptions are made available for transfer credit review. Transferability of credit is at the discretion of the accepting institution and that it is the student's responsibility to confirm whether or not credits will be accepted by another institution. Students must complete at a minimum, 30% of their educational programming at TUA. Official transcripts (translated if transcripts are not in English) must be provided for evaluation of course credit. Any student, who began a program at TUA and wishes to transfer to another program within TUA, will receive credit for courses passed and tuition will be adjusted accordingly.
Students who transfer out of TUA to another institution may receive their transcript reflecting their hours and grades, providing that all financial obligations have been met by the student to TUA.
